Rebel SAD leaders called meeting to elect new president on August 11 at Teja Singh Samundari Hall

AMRITSAR: On 2nd December 2024, the active members of the Recruitment Committee formed from the walls of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Manpreet Singh Ayali, Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Jathedar Iqbal Singh Jhundan, Jathedar Santa Singh Umaidpuri and Bibi Satwant Kaur expressed their satisfaction with the support and support received for the recruitment campaign and thanked all the workers.

State delegates elected from other states including Punjab will participate in the meeting.
The recruitment committee members said that from July 21 to July 30, district and state delegates will be elected constituency-wise from across the state through a democratic process.

The recruitment committee members said that the issued Hukamnama Sahib had orders that different factions should come together in a united manner, in the light of the same orders, the committee members again made an open call and appealed to all the Panthic parties to come together. In particular, all the other leaders including the president of the recruitment group who were rebellious and rebelling against the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib were also appealed to surrender to Sri Akal Takht Sahib by giving up their positions and disbanding the party.

The recruitment committee then clarified its stand that as per the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the orders to give Panth-approved leadership by removing the leadership that had lost its moral authority will be strictly followed.
