AMRITSAR: Punjab Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will pay a visit to Amritsar tomorrow (August 14). During his visit, he will inaugurate the Shaheed Memorial at Jallianwala Bagh at Guru Nanak Dev University, Medical College and Ranjit Avenue.
For security reasons, journalists will be taken by bus to all the three events for coverage under these programs. Apart from buses, no journalist will be able to reach the venue. Admission to the program will be available only on the identity cards issued by the Public Relations Department, so make sure to bring your own identity card.
A bus carrying the media will leave for Guru Nanak University at 12:45 pm from the District Administrative Complex (from the new Deputy Commissioner's Office).
To cover the function of the Medical College, the bus carrying the media will leave the District Administrative Complex (from the new Deputy Commissioner's Office) at 2:20 pm.
For the inauguration of Jallianwala Bagh Shaheed Memorial, a bus carrying media will run from District Administrative Complex (new Deputy Commissioner's Office) at 3.15 pm.
