Punjab Child Protection Organization formed

FEROZEPUR: Officers and staff of Child Protection Department working under ICPS held a meeting at Heavenly Palace, Ram Pura Road, Doraha, District Ludhiana. In which one representative of District Child Protection Unit working in different districts of Punjab participated.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Harbhajan Singh Mahimi, District Child Protection Officer.

He said that the main purpose of convening the meeting was to prevent the company from making excessive deductions in the salaries of outsourced staff and to increase the salaries of the lower level contract based posts by the government.

During the meeting it was decided that an organization would be formed to take up the demand of employees from all over Punjab and to implement the child protection scheme more smoothly across Punjab as per the guidelines of the Punjab government. Working for the child protection welfare of the working organizations is the focus area of the association.
The association will work closely with the government. Done After which the decision was unanimously agreed upon by the delegates from all the districts of Punjab and it was decided that the organization should be registered to protect the rights of the employees working across Punjab.

During the meeting President Harbhajan Singh, Vice President Ajay Bharti, Kanchan Arora, Secretary Sourav Chawla, Deputy Secretary Manjinder Kaur, Treasurer Shanu Rana, Assistant Treasurer Rachpal Singh, Legal Adviser Ajay Sarma, Sukhjinder for the Governing Body with the consent of all the officers and staff. Singh Arshbir Singh Johal, Press Secretary Rashmi, Deputy Press Secretary Satnam Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Chief Adviser Abhishek Singla, Sukhvir Kaur and Jolly Monga for Executive Committee, Ravneet Kaur, Gurmeet Singh, Gorav Sarma, Kaushal Pruthi, Rajesh Kumar, Kamaljit Singh , Ranveer Kaur, Gori Arora, Manpreet Kaur, Utampreet Singh, Varinder Singh, Dheeraj Sarma and Gurmeet Kaur were elected as members. Sally Mittal was also present.
