AMRITSAR: Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is conducting tricolor campaign at every house with the support of various blocks, youth clubs and Rastri Yuva volunteers and local people of Amritsar district.
District Youth Officer Akansha informed all the youth volunteers about the program and said that on the occasion of completion of 75 years of India's independence, people will be motivated to hoist the tricolor in their homes under the Amrit Mahautsav program of independence across the country.
District Youth Officer said that this year under the Har Ghar Tiranga program with the support of youth circles, youth volunteers and local residents the following activities such as cycle rally, walking tour, Har Ghar campaign, from August 13 to 15 to celebrate the 75th year of India. Motorcycle rallies, seminars, knowledge competitions are also being organized to encourage people to bring and hoist the tricolor from house to house till August.
