GURDASPUR: The District Employment Officer, Parshotam Singh said that under the Ghar-to-Ghar employment mission of the Punjab government, job fairs would be organized from September 9 to September 17, 2021.
He said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Ishfaq 'Mega Job Fair' would be organized at 5 places in the district.
He further said that first and second job fair on September 9 and 10 at Golden College of Engineering and Technology Gurdaspur, third job fair on September 14 at SSM College Dinanagar, fourth and fifth job fair on September 16 and 17 at Government College. It will take place at Batala.
He further said that in order to provide maximum employment to the unemployed youth in these employment fairs, the Deputy Commissioner was holding zoom meetings with the village sarpanches so that the youth could avail maximum benefits of these employment fairs.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the officers of various departments including BDPOs and Municipal Council officials to make the people more aware about these employment fairs in their respective areas.
