Increase in services available through Seva Kendra - Deputy Commissioner

KAPURTHALA:Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal said that Punjab Government has decided to provide 5 types of services related to various departments through Seva Kendras in the district Kapurthala.

Disclosing this here today the Deputy Commissioner said that the registration of street vendors under the Local Government Department, revocation of ammunition license under the Home Department, missing items under the Police Department, passport and mobile phone missing report writing services etc. will now be available on service centers. She said that this decision has been taken by the Punjab government for the welfare of the citizens of the state and to facilitate these services.

She said that these services were also available on the e-service Punjab portal from August 18, which was developed by the Punjab State e-Governance Society under the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. DC directed the officers of the concerned departments of the district to ensure that the requests made by the general public on the e-service portal in the district be disposed of within the stipulated time frame.
