CHANDIGARH: Income Tax department today morning raided the residence and offices of SAD MLA from Dakha. More than 60 personnel of Income Tax department reached village Ayali 6 AM today.
Manpreet Singh Ayali is said to be inside his home and cooperating with the IT department officials. Raid is still going on. Central security forces are deployed around the residence of Ayali.
SAD MLA Virsa Singh Valtoha said that center government was using IT and ED against opposition parties which is unfortunate. He said that similar raids were conducted on Shiv Sena leaders in Maharashtra and other states.
