CHANDIGARH: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, along with Tourism & Cultural Affairs department’s Advisor Deepak Bali, paid obeisance at Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib in Nanded, Maharashtra, followed by a visit to Giani Kulwant Singh Ji, Jathedar of the Takht Sahib.
During the meeting, the Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains with utmost reverence formally invited the Jathedar to attend the 350th Martyrdom Day ceremonies of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. The historic commemorative ceremonies scheduled from 23rd to 25th November, 2025 at Sri Anandpur Sahib.
In a gesture of esteem, the management of the Takht Sahib honoured Harjot Singh Bains with the ceremonial tying of a Dastar (Turban) and presented him with a Siropa (robe of honor), acknowledging his humble visit.
