CHANDIGARH: Former Joint STC Karan Singh today joined Shiromani Akali Dal in presence of party President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
He was formally inducted into the party by SAD President S Sukhbir Singh Badal today at party head office in Chandigarh. His wife Bibi Vaninder Kaur Loomba is already an Ex MLA of the party from Shutrana assembly constituency in Patiala district.
Mr Badal appointed S Karan Singh as General Secretary of the party.
It is worth mentioning here that Mr. Karan Singh had served the Transport department with full dedication and his wife Vaninder Kaur Loomba had won from Shutrana in 2012 elections. She carried out many development projects in the constituency.
