AMRITSAR: Finally, the Jallianwala Bagh will reopen tomorrow after a long period. Earlier it was closed on the name of renovation work but later it was not opened due to carona.
Jallianwala Bagh Shaheed Parivaar Samiti was struggling for reopen the Bagh. They had launched hunger strike and the also gave an ultimatum fir reopen the garden.
Meanwhile the statue of Shaheed Udham Singh was painted by sculptor Paramjit Rana by the International Sarva Kamboj Samaj, Kamboj Sabha Amritsar and Amarbir Singh Oot President Sikh Student Federation.
Amarbir Singh Dhot said that the renovation work was done by the government at a cost of crores. It is unfortunate that the government was short of money till the statue of Shaheed Udham Singh ji was painted.
Meanwhile, General Secretary of Jallianwala Bagh Shaheed Parivar Samiti Mr. Nanish Behl thanked the government for reopening the garden.
