DC Asks All Departments to Submit Employees' Details in DISE Capsule Software by Tomorrow

NAWANSHAHR:Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal while taking stock of poll preparedness in district, today, directed all the departments to submit employees' details in DISE Capsule software by Tuesday; otherwise they would have to face the action under section 32 of RP Act.

Chairing a meeting of all the departments with ADCs Harbeer Singh, Jasbir Singh and Amardeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner-cum- District Electoral Officer said that for gearing up to ensure smooth, free and fair upcoming assembly elections, we have to complete the process of preparing database of the Human Resources available with various departments as early as possible.

The Deputy Commissioner asked all the remaining offices to submit the error free list of their staff by December 7. He said that the lists must be submitted timely and in a foolproof manner. He said that the data would be used for appointments of presiding officers, Micro observers and for other poll duties.

The Deputy Commissioner said that as the poll process was likely to start as soon as the Model Code of Conduct comes into force after the announcement of elections. He said that every government employee was duty bound to perform election duty as the assembly elections have equally important to us with other departmental works. Mr Sarangal said that there were 614 booths in the district for which around 4000 employees were required for conducting smooth, hassle free and transparent polls.

He said that all the staff to be posted with election duty must have completed his/her Covid vaccination. He directed all the district heads to furnish a certificate in this regard so that a safe environment to be provided for all the employees in wake of reports of third wave.

The Deputy Commissioner said that every central / state government employees along with staff of colleges and Public Service Undertakings have to furnish information for the elections. He said that every department must submit detailed information regarding their employees, which would be cross checked by the administration, after which the duties for polls would be assigned. He cautioned that any sort of attempt to conceal the information by the Heads of department would be dealt sternly.
