CHANDIGARH: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that various religious and other organizations had lodged protest against the Central Government decision regarding ban on the Jathas for visiting the Gurdwara Sahib situated in Pakistan.
He said that the Central Government has now adopted a pragmatic approach by allowing the Jathas to visit Gurdwara Sahib in Pakistan on the occasion of the Gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and it will lead to establish communal harmony as well as peace between both the countries. This will enhance trade between both nations. Farmers and business community can also be benefitted.
