Arrangements for the August 1 Panthic Summit on Heritage Street have been finalized

AMRITSAR:All the arrangements for the Panthic Sammelan to be held on August 1 in Virasati Gali (heritage street) have been completed.Talking to media, Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala said that the summit would discuss the strategy to save the heritage buildings. Bhai Baldev Singh said that SSD would not allow to demolish of Guru Ram Das Sarai and the issue will be discussed in the Panthic Sammelan tomorrow.
Sikh Sadhbhawna Dal chief Baldev Singh Wadala said it was yet another attempt by the SGPC to kill the heritage of the Golden Temple on the pretext of modernisation.

He has extended an open invitation to all Sikh Panthic organizations to join the Sammelan.

He also appealed to the Shiromani Ragi Sabha to come forward to save the heritage buildings in the best interests of the Sikh Panth.

It may be recalled that Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala, former ragi of Sri Harmandir Sahib and chief servant of Sikh Sadbhavana Dal, has appealed to Sikhs to raise their voice against the proposed demolition of Guru Ram Das Sarai inside Sri Harmandir Sahib complex. Forcing the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to keep it safe. Heritage and historic buildings.

Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala had been sitting on a dharna near Dharam Singh Market for the last 9 months and was raising his voice against the disappearance of 328 Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib.

Bhai Wadala said that Sikhs should oppose demolition of historic buildings so that we can pass on our precious history to future generations.
