CHANDIGARH:A joint meeting of All India Jatt Maha Sabha Chandigarh and Punjab office bearers was held at Kisan Bhawan Chandigarh under the chairmanship of National Delegate Chandigarh State President and Punjab Mandi Board Director Rajinder Singh Badheri.

In this meeting they disagreed with the newly amended Agriculture Bills. Advocating for the continuation of the old system, he said that "these bills are death warrants for the farmers". The Modi-Badal alliance is doing all this to appease Adani-Ambani. The Anti-Farmer policies and the so-called Agricultural Reforms Bills are doing all this to ruin the farmers. But we can play their game if we want to.

He addded - in my opinion we should boycott these companies completely, do not pour any oil from Reliance pumps, port Geo connections to all other companies, any Arhatya or Land Holder or Farmer should not sell a single grain to Adani Group Dagru (Moga), don't buy from all the Reliance showrooms in Punjab.

Mr. Badheri furter said - If you think it is right, then this matter should be conveyed to every Punjabi, farmer and common citizen. The Punjab Mandi Board is a sympathetic body of farmers, artisans and farm laborers and it also provides employment to the youth of Punjab.

Mr. Badheri appealed - Don't be enslaved to any political party that plays with your emotions and runs with the funds of industrial houses taking your votes and causing financial loss to Punjab and Sikhs. Don't bow before those parties who are not even ashamed to seek election funds from Indian Tobacco Company - ITC. Thus, be careful so that even the farmer survives, the industrial houses and the Badal-Modi alliance's anti-farmer policies can also thwart the future of their children.

Mr. Badheri said that at the same time the office-bearers of the house demanded the appointment of Partap Singh Bajwa as the President of the Punjab Congress so that the Assembly elections of 2022 could be easily won. In this meeting among others Kiranjit Singh Mitha Mari Megha, Tejinder Singh Poonia, Daljodhan Singh Brar - All State General Secretaries of the Punjab, Daljit Singh Manana District President Mohali, Bibi Jeet Kaur Karoran Mohali, Amarbir Singh Sandhu Narli State Secretary Punjab, Bibi Gurtej Kaur Sidhu State President Chandigarh Women's Wing, Nirmal Singh Dhillon President Chandigarh City, Kuldeep Singh Gill General Secretary Chandigarh participated.
