AAP in Punjab has discriminated and treated the SC community by denying representation in the Rajya Sabha: Kainth

CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party's failure to provide respect and representation to the Scheduled Caste community, which constitutes 35 percent of Punjab's population, has exposed its true character towards Dalits. Expressing this view, Paramjit Singh Kainth, Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Scheduled Caste Morcha, said that Punjab has seven Rajya Sabha seats, and a by-election for one of them is scheduled for October 24.

He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has made no effort to send even a single member from the Scheduled Caste community to the Rajya Sabha. In the past, the Congress and the Akali Dal have always given the Scheduled Caste community their due share, given their large population in Punjab. However, the Aam Aadmi Party has betrayed them by denying them their due share, while the party's Dalit ministers and MLAs have remained silent on this serious issue, which is highly condemnable.

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Paramjit Kainth, who raises the voice of the Scheduled Caste community, said that recently the court sentenced the Aam Aadmi Party MLA for misbehaving and harassing the Scheduled Caste people, but the Aam Aadmi Party did not take any action against him, this shows the working style of the party, by not taking action against the MLA, the Scheduled Caste community is being discriminated and insulted.
