AAP government supports Punjab police in case of fake encounter of Gurdaspur youth Ranjit Singh
Ranjit Singh a 19 year old young boy was allegedly killed in a fake encounter by Punjab Police on February 25, 2026. The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Gurdaspur has ordered the police to produce CCTV footage and vehicle logbooks of SSP, SP and other officials. On August 7, court will hear the case to continue the judicial inquiry in this case. Police had named Ranjit Singh, Dilwawar Singh and Inderjit Singh for the murder of two policememen. olice claimed it was a plot of Pakistan ISI. Bit nothing of the sort was later eastablished.
