42 booths declared vulnerable in Nakodar;RO

NAKODAR:As many as 42 booths have been declared as vulnerable in Nakodar
constituency for the February20 election.

Returning officer (RO) cum sub divisional magistrate Poonam Singh
said here today that there are 252 polling booths in the constituency
and the police have declared 42 polling booths as vulnerable and 4
booths as sensitive as per election commission’s guidelines.

RO said that there are 252 booth level officers and 22 are sector
supervisors and root plan has been prepared as per supervisors and a
MCC team has been formed to implement model code of conduct (MCC) as
per ECI directions.

She said that the first rehearsal -cum- training programme of the
staff put on election duty shall be held on 23 January at 10:00 A.M at
Guru Nanak National College (Boys)Nakodar adding that the staff shall
be given training in all the aspects related to the conduct of
elections.
