GURDASPUR: The Transport Department, Gurdaspur today in a major operation in the district seized 25 buses belonging to large private companies operating without tax and without time.
Disclosing this here today Mr. Baldev Singh Randhawa, Regional Transport Authority, Gurdaspur said that under the direction of Transport Minister Mr Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, action was taken against the buses of private companies which were running without tax, defaulter and without time.The buses belonging to private companies such as Rajdhani, Dabwali and Libra Transport etc have been seized. .
Mr. Randhawa said that any person violating the terms and conditions of the department would not be spared.
Reiterating his commitment to ensure transparent and efficient functioning of the transport department, he said that no one would be spared for non-payment of tax or any kind of loophole in the rules and strict action would be taken against all defaulters.
