NAKODAR: The Punjab State Power Corporation has started imposing unscheduled power cuts throughout the state due to the low availability of power supply.
Inquiries revealed that 4-hour-long power cuts in the morning and evening are being imposed on rural feeders supplying power to villages on urban patterns. Two-hour power cuts are being imposed in cities.
Nakodar, Nurmahal grid substation officials said cuts are imposed on orders from power controller (PC) Jamsher and continue till further orders.
