Disclosing this here today Harbrinder Singh Gill General Manager Punjab Roadways Amritsar-2 said that the bus from Amritsar to Delhi Airport on Roadways Amritsar-1 will leave from 9:20 am and from Jalandhar at 11:40 am and reach Delhi Airport at 20:10 pm. Will arrive at and leave Delhi for Amritsar at 02:40 am. He said that similarly Punjab Roadways Amritsar-2 bus would leave Amritsar at 13:40 pm, 16:20 pm from Jalandhar and reach Delhi Airport at 00:35 pm and leave for Amritsar from Delhi at 05:00 am. .
He further said that booking of tickets for these super luxury buses could be done through the website www.punbusonline.com and the arrival and departure schedule of these buses would also be available on the website.
Mr. Gill said that the fare of super luxury Volvo bus from Amritsar to Delhi Airport has been fixed at Rs. 1380 / -, from Jalandhar to Delhi Airport has been fixed at Rs. 1160 / - and from Ludhiana to Delhi Airport has been fixed at Rs. 990 / -. In addition Rs.10 / - will be charged as additional online charge. Mr. Gill said that earlier only private transporters used to run buses on this route and collect money from people arbitrarily. He said that now with the operation of these buses people would get a lot of relief and less than half the fare would be charged from the passengers.
He said that these Volbus buses of PUNBUS would be launched on June 15 across the state.
