KATHUNANGAL(MAJITHA): Working for the welfare and development of the people of Majitha constituency has always been the primary responsibility of the Majithia family and the Majithia family will continue to fulfill its responsibility for the people of the constituency. This was stated by Ganip Kaur Majithia, BSP candidate of Akali Dal from the constituency.
Addressing various election meetings in Manga Saraye, Dudhala, Ramdivali Hindua, Kot Hirda Ram, Roopwali Chougawan, Roopowali Khurd, Adda Kathunangal and Mann villages of Kathunangal circle today, Ganeev Kaur Majithia said that the love and respect shown by the people of Majitha constituency. Always given to the Majitha family, for which we will always be indebted to the people of the constituency. He said that the people of the constituency were part of the Majithia family and the responsibility of this big family was earlier being carried out by Bikram Singh Majithia alone and now we would work together to serve the people of the constituency.
He said that the social welfare schemes for the development of Majitha constituency and for the welfare and advancement of the people of the constituency have been implemented in the previous SAD-led governments in the same manner. Other schemes including free electricity and Rs 2, 000 per month for those leading BPL families, cheaper diesel for farmers and medical insurance of Rs 10 lakh each would be implemented.
Ganeev Kaur Majithia said that she was happy that women were increasingly participating in her election campaign and she hoped that women would play a vital role in her victory.
Former MLAs Ranjit Singh Waryam Nangal, Lakhbir Singh Gill, Gurmeet Singh Sehzada, Sharanbir Singh Roopwali, Manager Harwinder Singh Roopwali, Sukhdeep Singh Buta, Jatinder Singh Talwandi, Resham Singh Bhullar and Mandeep Singh Shehzada were also present on the occasion.
