Exceptional artistic talent shown by Children in the Painting Competition on Energy Conservation Organized by BBMB

CHANDIGARH: Under the Ministry of Power, Government of India,  the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has been promoting “Energy Conservation” across the country through its National Awareness Campaign. 

This campaign has inspired a new wave of enthusiasm and motivation among students through painting competitions organized at various levels.

 On this occasion, Mr Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, BBMB, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the remarkable creative abilities of the young artists and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the children, their parents and teachers for their active participation in this important campaign. 

The competition witnessed intense yet healthy participation. In Group A and Group B, the first prize of Rs 50, 000/- each was awarded to Japjot Kaur (Punjab – Group A),  Tamanna (Punjab – Group B), Khushboo Yadav (Haryana – Group A),  Veenu (Haryana – Group B),  Himani (Chandigarh – Group A) and Srishti Nautiyal (Chandigarh – Group B). Similarly, second and third position holders were awarded Rs 30, 000 and Rs 20, 000/- respectively. Additionally, 10 students from each state and group (total 60 students) received consolation prizes of Rs 7, 500/- each.
