CHANDIGARH: Divisional Commandant (Home Guards) Charanjit Singh would be conferred the President’s Home Guards and Civil Defence Medal for his distinguished service from President of India.
A spokesperson informed that President would also honor Company Commander (Home Guards) Mr. Rawel Singh and Platoon Commander (Home Guards) Ms. Madhu with Home Guards and Civil Defence Medal for their meritorious services. An official communiqué has been sent by Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard.
