AMRITSAR: Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj reached Gachubai Tanda, a village of Vanjara Sikhs in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad city of Telangana state, and preached Sikhism under the ‘Khuar Hoe Sab Milenge’ religious propaganda movement recently.

About 500 Sikhs live in Gachubai Tanda who are completely dedicated to Sikhism and Sikhism.

The Sikh community organized a special Gurmat Samagam at the village Gurdwara Sahib Dashmesh Darbar with the support of the Sikh community of Hyderabad on the arrival of Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, during which the Jatha of Hazuri Raagi Bhai Vir Singh of Amirpet Gurdwara Sahib and the Sikh girls of the village connected the Sangat with the Guru's praise by reciting Gurbani Kirtan.

At the end of the event, Jathedar Gargaj distributed Gurmukhi Punjabi rules to a large number of village children and motivated them to learn Gurmukhi and connect with Gurbani. Langar was organized by the management committee of the Gurdwara Sahib, in which Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj himself served and served prasad to the Sangat.

After the event, the Sikhs of the village discussed with Jathedar Gargaj for a long time and informed them about their problems. The Sikhs of the village sought support from Jathedar Gargajj for the provision of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Santhiya, teachers for Gurmat Sangeet, Gurmukhi Punjabi and Gatka training, Pracharak Singhs for the propagation of Sikhism in this area and for paying the school fees of the children.

Jathedar Gargajj listened to the views carefully and assured them that after considering the issues raised by them, necessary arrangements would be made with the support of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and the Sikh Sangats living all over the world.

Addressing the Sangat during the function, Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargajj said that he was very happy that even thousands of kilometers away from Punjab, Sikhism is flourishing in the south at Gachubai Tanda, which is a source of inspiration for the entire Sikh world. He said that upon reaching this village, he was very impressed and happy to see small, healthy children, women and Singhs serving Guru ke Langar in a congregation according to the Guru's principles and manners.

He said that today in the villages of Punjab, the tradition of providing langar services in a communal manner during Sikh rituals, Bhogs and Gurmat celebrations is decreasing, which is a matter of serious concern.

He said that today, Sikhs are also paying money to have langars prepared from langris during their rituals, Bhogs and Gurmat celebrations, in which Sikh etiquette is often not even taken into account and this is a big challenge to the principle of service. He said that in the principle of service and langar provided by the Gurus, there is great importance of Sikhs themselves providing seva, because with service, love for the Guru increases in our minds and jealousy, hatred and arrogance are removed.

He said that it is necessary that we return to Sikh traditions and firmly guard the Guru's principles.

Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargajj said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji propagated Sikhism in different corners of the earth by making four Udasis and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed in the southern region around Takht Sri Hazur Abichalnagar Sahib Nanded. Since the time of the Gurus in this area, the Sikhs who have embraced the Sikhism of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji have been connected to the Guru through the medium of the Guru's Shabad.

Jathedar Gargajj told the congregation of Gachubai Tanda that your small children and youth have decorated beautiful turbans and have embraced the Guru's Sikhism in a very good way, which is a matter of great joy for us. He said that even though you are living far away from Punjab, you are connected to the Guru's Sikhism and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, for this you deserve congratulations. He prayed that the Sikhs here always remain in the best of times and remain connected to the Guru in this way.

He said that we as the Khalsa Panth are all one common family.

Jathedar Gargajj said that if the Sikhs from Vanjara of Telangana want to come to Punjab to visit Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib Sri Anandpur Sahib, then train fare will be arranged for them.

He invited all the Sikhs to come to Punjab as much as possible and visit their Gurdwaras. Jathedar Gargajj appreciated the Granthi of Gurdwara Sahib Giani Ravinder Singh, who is from the same village, for continuously serving the Guru Ghar and connecting the children of this place with Gurbani and Gurmukhi.

He said that the highest place of Sikhs, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, is always with these Sikhs and every possible effort will be made to keep them connected with Sikhism. He said that they will continued to come to the southern region in the future.

On this occasion, the President of Gurdwara Sahib Dashmesh Darbar Lakhwinder Singh, Secretary Bhagat Singh, Granthi Giani Ravinder Singh, from Hyderabad S.
