AMRITSAR: Jallianwala Bagh Shaheed Parivaar Samiti has organised a protest dharna outside Jallianwala Bagh against the closure of Bagh since long time.
Samiti president Mahesh Behal said that Bagh was closed for its renovation work. but it was not reopened so far. Many tourists want to pay tribute to their martyrs
In a reply to a question he said that Samiti will not allow to impose any entry fee.
He demanded representation of two members of Samiti in Jallianwala Bagh Trust. Jallianwala Bagh a historical garden in memory of those who killed and injured in massacre of 13 April 1919.It houses a museum, gallery and other structures.
