KAITHAL: Farmers of Bharatiya Kisan Union Chaduni Group took out a tractor march across the district on Saturday. Farmers also took out tractor march as per schedule in Kaithal, Rajound, Guhla Cheeka, Kalayat, and Pundri. In Kaithal, under the leadership of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni Group) District President Mahavir Chahal and Youth Vice President Narendra Kumar, the tractor rally passed through Mini Secretariat, Karnal Road, Pihowa Chowk, Committee Chowk and Kurukshetra Road.
Farmer leaders garlanded the statue of Chhotu Ram at Sir Chhotu Ram Chowk. Mahavir Chahal said that this tractor march is being taken out to make people aware so that the voice reaches every household that farmers are troubled today and an atmosphere can be created like the farmer movement last time. After this, farmers will hold a big Mahapanchayat in Kurukshetra on Sunday. In which some big decision will be taken. Chadhuni group is protesting not as a party but as farmers. They are with the farmers of Punjab. Whatever order State President Gurnam Singh Chaduni gives in the meeting to be held on Sunday will be accepted. The atrocities being committed against farmers on the Punjab border will not be tolerated. Punjab is our elder brother. So now we will fight this battle together.
Farmers demonstrated strength in Pundri also:
Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni) took out a tractor march in Pundri on Saturday in support of the farmers' movement. It was led by Youth State President Vikram Kasana Advocate and District Executive President Gurnam Singh Faral, Block Head Randhir Barsana, Youth District President Vikram Dusain. This tractor march started from the grain market, passed through Guru Brahmanand Chowk, near the bus stand, till the tehsil and back through the city and ended at the market. Farmers riding on hundreds of tractors participating in the tractor march raised slogans against the central and state governments. Angry farmers said that the government should find a solution to this issue by talking to the agitating farmers. Youth State President Vikram Kasana, Executive President Gurnam Singh Faral said that now the Central Government is claiming that the SSP of 22 crops has been increased to guarantee 50 percent return on the cost prices of the crops, if this has happened then the farmers will be informed about it. Why are you not getting benefits? The government is continuously playing with the interests of the farmers.

Peace remained on Punjab border for the fifth day
On Saturday, there was peace at all places along the borders of district Kaithal with Punjab. No movement of any kind of farmers of Punjab is visible on the border. Heavy police force is deployed at Tatiana, Sangatpura and other borders. Para military forces along with police officers including two DSPs have been deployed here. At present there is an atmosphere of peace in the district.
