SHAHKOT:The Shahkot police have booked four members of a family including a woman on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Salindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Bindar Singh a resident of Bajwa Kalan village , his wife Anita Singh son Mohit and brother Sadhu Singh .
Sharanjit Kaur(41) wife of Sadhu Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police the accused barged in her house on August 17 , 2020 the accused assaulted and tore her clothes.
IO said that a case under section 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 451(house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment), 323(voluntarily causing hurt) and 34(committing crime with common intention) has been registered against the accused after an inquiry. No arrested have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused said IO.
