SHAHKOT: A 23 years old youth was killed in road accident on Thursday early near Shahkot. The investigating officer (IO) Karamjit Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh (23) a resident of Mansa.
IO said the deceased was returning home from Pathankot in his car when it went out of control and collided with a wall of a flyover near town and died on the spot.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. handed over the body to the family after post mortem.
