LOHIAN: The Lohian Khas have booked a father son duo on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.The Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Shatir Singh a resident of Chak Bandala village and his son Sher Singh.
Shano wife of Bhagwant Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police, the accused barged into her house on May 8 night by scaling boundary wall assaulted her and her family and tore her clothes with the intention to insult her.
Police said that a case under section 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 452(house-trespass in order to commit offense punishable with imprisonment), 323(voluntarily causing hurt)269 and 270(negligent and malignant acts likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life.) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC and section 51-D of the Disaster Management Act has been registered against the accused. No arrested have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
