RCED organised district level awareness program

CHANDIGARH:  On behalf of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), State Office, Ambala, District Level Awareness Program to promote Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) was organized by Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) in collaboration with National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIIFTEM) demonstrated as an all- encompassing and enlightening experience on Thursday.

The event proved invaluable for aspiring entrepreneurs within the food industry. 

 Jatinder Singh of RCED efficiently managed the registration process, ensuring a seamless start to the day. Mr. Pushkar Datt, AM-SDD at NIFTEM, welcomed participants and outlined the program’s objectives. Dr Neeraj, the Dean of NIFTEM, delivered an impactful inaugural address, emphasizing the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in the food sector. 

The Technical Session I, led by Mr. V.P Singh Walia, Joint Director of MSME, provided valuable insights. The PMEGP scheme presentations by Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director of RCED, Chandigarh, shed light on government initiatives. Additionally, discussions on the roles of KVIC and HRKVIB were facilitated by Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Anil Kumar Vashist, respectively. Ms. Aparna Rani, Branch Manager of SBI, enlightened participants on banking norms and practices. 

 The interactive session with Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Mr. Anil Kumar Vishist, Ms. Aparna Rani, and Mr. Paramjit Singh fostered valuable feedback and addressed participant queries. Mr. Paramjit Singh delivered concluding remarks, summarizing the key takeaways, and Mr. Pushkar Datt extended gratitude in the vote of thanks, marking the successful conclusion of the program.
