CHANDIGARH: The victory of Congress candidates from Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency Manish Tiwari was celebrated in a grand manner at various places. Hundreds of Congress workers including Chandigarh Congress secretary Subhash Gehlot celebrated the victory in ward number 31 of sector 52 by feeding each other laddus and playing drums, where hundreds of Congress workers danced to the beats of drums and celebrated the victory of Congress party.
Chandigarh Congress secretary Subhash Gehlot said that Subhash Gehlot and his workers worked day and night in the Chandigarh Lok Sabha elections, as a result of which Congress party has won with majority.
Subhash Gehlot dedicated this victory to the firm belief and hard work of Congress workers and expressed his gratitude for the support, blessings and affection of the common people during the elections. He also assured that all the promises made by Congress during the elections will be fulfilled. He also said that people had already decided the victory of Congress because they were fed up with the 10 years of misrule of BJP. Subhash Gehlot thanked hundreds of Congress workers for reaching on a small invitation.
Subhash Gehlot along with Sonu, Rajinder Kumar, Janm Singh, Maya Devi, Parvati Devi, Davinder Rana, Ramesh Kumar and hundreds of Congress workers celebrated in the program.
