PUNJAB NEWS EXPRESS | February 05, 2021 09:50 PM

MOHALI: “BJP and SAD are two sides of the same coin So it’s useless to expect anything from them  as far as the welfare of the common man is concerned. Thus in the Mohali MC election, it is necessary to teach them a lesson for their anti-man policies by defeating their candidates and Azad group and AAP party with big margins.”

Balbir Singh Sidhu, Punjab Health Minister and local sitting Congress MLA stated this during the inauguration of an election office of party ward no 26 candidate, Jagdish Singh at Kumbhara village here on Thursday.

Sidhu further said, the central government has put up nails and bars on the roads to stop farmers. The farmers are protesting peacefully and the government is instigating them so that they get a chance to shoot and suppress the movement.

Jagdish Singh is a farmer and knows the pain of farmers. He exhorted farmers, laborers, small shopkeepers and common people of the area to ensure Jagdish win with a record margin.

Sidhu said that in and around the area of Kumbhra has witnessed all- around development after Congress formed its government in the state. The medical college at Mohali has been set up with the efforts of Ambika Soni. The International Airport has come up in Mohali with the efforts of former CM, Mr. Manmohan Singh.

For Landran bypass , Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh gave me a budget of more than Rs 27-crore and asked to complete the project at the earliest. As a result the work is now going at a fast pace there, he said.

We also built community centers in Mohali, improved medical facilities and two new universities are coming up here. All this is the result of the efforts of Congress, he asserted.
