AMRITSAR: The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar organized an Orientation Program for Commerce students on 'Decoding the Career Success Path” in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv. Kanwaljit Singh, Lead trainer, CPBFI Bajaj Finserv was the resource person in the programme who stressed how the commerce students can gain jobs in diverse sectors.
He said with the knowledge of traits like Attitude, Communication and Workplace Skills, the students can look for a career in investment, banking and accounts management., said Principal Dr Mehal Singh who added that the primary objective of the programme was to acquaint the students with the abundant career opportunities as a path to succeed in their career.
Dr. AK Kahlon, Dean, Head and Programme Director and Dr. Ajay Sehgal, Programme Coordinator earlier welcomed the participants. Dr. Poonam Sharma introduced the distinguished guests and Dr. Nidhi conducted the stage. More than 100 students from the commerce department participated in this programme and gained knowledge about the skills required for the jobs and numerous career prospects.
