MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University School of Law organized a Legal Aid Camp and celebrated Holi at Prabh Asra, Kurali, an international NGO committed to rehabilitate destitute mentally ill/challenged, orphaned, elderly and abandoned individuals with unconditional care, shelter, treatment, education and disaster relief.
This programme was organized under the guidance of chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra &Dr Parvinder singh vice-chancellor and leadership of Dr Richa Ranjan, Dean, University School of Law.
She said that the purpose of this programme was to connect the students with the society so as to make them aware about the truths of the society. The programme was anchored by Assistant Professor Monika Bains.
On this occasion, Dr M.S. Bains, Dr. Jaspal, Assistant Professor Puneet and Karamjot Kaur from USL, discussed the social causes and the laws made for the development and safety of children. The students of the university celebrated Holi by singing songs, doing Bhangra, poetry etc. The residents of Prabh Asra also participated in the celebration by performing dance and singing.
