MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University organised a special felicitation ceremony to honour its NCC cadet, Senior Under Officer (SUO) Anuradha, who has been awarded the prestigious Director General NCC Commendation Medal. The medal was conferred by Lt Gen Varindra Vats in New Delhi for her meritorious service and outstanding performance during the Republic Day Parade 2026. Her achievement has brought pride and recognition to the university.
Anuradha was honoured by the University with a Roll of Honour and a cash prize. The felicitation ceremony was held on the university campus in the presence of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Group Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar and Director A.S. Chahal from the NCC/NSS Department.
Congratulating Anuradha, Chancellor Bahra lauded her dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. He said her national-level achievement reflects the strong leadership qualities and patriotic values the university strives to instill among its students. He further emphasised that such accomplishments inspire other students to pursue excellence in academics and extracurricular activities.
