Mata Gujri College pays obeisance on last day of Shaheedi Sabha

FATEHGARH SAHIB: The staff members and students of Mata Gujri College participated in the Nagar Kirtan on the third day of an annual Shaheedi Jor Mela, to pay thier homage to the supreme sacrifice of Mata Gurji Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji.  

Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said that more than thousand staff members and students of the college participated in the social welfare activities.
He also informed that NSS unit of the college organised a blood donation camp in which 400 units of blood was donated and Youth Red Cross Unit organised a First Aid camp in which more than 500 patients were given medical treatment. Apart from this, the college also provided 2000 beds for the pilgrims and free bus service was also arranged for the passengers.

Honorary Secretary of the college S. Jagdeep Singh Cheema, SGPC members S. Avtar Singh Ria and S. Ravinder Singh Khalsa also appreciated the social welfare and humanitarian activities of the college.
