MOHALI: International Women’s Day was celebrated on Friday under the theme “Invest in Woman: Accelerate Growth” at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh at its campus. Students and Staff participated in the various activities organized at its campus.
A scintillating cultural extravaganza of melodious songs, ramp walk, theatrical items, Giddha, folk and state dances on the tune of various songs were presented by the students and staff. Students attired in gaudy clothes and added glamour and beauty to the function.
Director General, Aryans Group, Dr. Parveen Kataria highlighted the role of women being acknowledged as equal in all the domains of the society. Be it political, social, professional, domestic or familial, women were doing well in every sphere.
