CHANDIGARH: Dr. Soumya Ranjan Jena has been conferred by the prestigious Swamy Vivekananda Awards organised by The Indian Forum for Social Leaders & Achievers on 12th Jan 2026 (National Youth Day), receiving official conferment and certification for his outstanding contributions to education, research and innovation.
The recognition highlights his sustained efforts in advancing knowledge, promoting innovation and building future-ready technologies, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Apart from this on 24th Jan 2026 he received “Best Academician Award” at the National Educational Distinction Awards ceremony organised by SKRGC Academy. Both the honours stand as a national acknowledgement of his inspiring journey as an educator, researcher, author and innovator—one that continues to influence learners and the academic ecosystem with remarkable consistency and purpose.
Dr. Jena currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chandigarh University, Mohali (Punjab).

He has authored 38 international-level books, published around 32 research papers, and built an impressive intellectual property portfolio of 48 patents, including 18 granted patents.
