"Bridging Cultures’’ RBU hosts Iftar Party to Celebrate Cultural Harmony and Inclusion

MOHALI: Under the esteemed patronage of Hon’ble Chancellor S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra and the visionary guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Parvinder Singh, the Department of Students Welfare (DSW) at Rayat Bahra University orchestrated a joyous Iftar party to mark the spirit of cultural harmony and inclusion. Dr. Simerjit Kaur, the Convenor of DSW, spearheaded the event with enthusiasm and dedication.

The Iftar party, a special celebration for Eid, brought together hostel students from diverse backgrounds, including both boys and girls, in a serene and festive atmosphere. Participants who were observing fasts delighted in the evening's rituals of prayer and communal feasting, creating a bond of togetherness and camaraderie. Expressing his heartfelt regards on the occasion of Eid, Chancellor S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra emphasized the university's commitment to fostering cultural harmony within the campus community. He reiterated Rayat Bahra University's dedication to celebrating all festivals with equal fervor, embodying the ethos of inclusivity and unity. rice, and Manchurian, enhancing the joyous festivities of the evening. The success of the event was made possible through the invaluable support and cooperation of Dr. Preeti Sharma Rawat, Dr. Harinderjit, Ms. Saba, Ms. Sahreen, Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur, Mr. BS Bains, Director of Administration, Ms. Kavita Rajput, Ms. Kavita Singh, S.
