MOHALI: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri Campus organized a big splash fresher party to welcome its new batch. The event was full of fun and enthusiasm. Director General, senior dignitaries and Faculty members also graced the occasion. The event started with lamp lighting following many exciting events.
Everyone showered their blessing and greeted the new students with good wishes. New comers, along with their seniors, actively participated in the event.
Addressing the students, President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said that college life is a turning point for students' lives. Students need to put their best effort for enhancing their abilities. There is no substitute to hard work and it is the only key to success. Knowledge and skills can take students to another level of success.
The event included variety of cultural programs like Jamming, Qawali, Classical Dance, K-Pop, Bollywood Dance, Band, Kashmiri Dance, Bhojpuri Dance, Haryanvi Dance, Natty, Giddha, Bhangra, Choreography Western Dance, Dandiya, F International Dance and Nuked Natak. The fun moments started with the entertaining performances and high spirit. The enthusiasm level was clearly seen on the face of the students.
Later, the Fashion Show was the attraction of the event. Mr. Freshers’22 was Sunandan of B.Tech Robotics & AI whereas Achok of BCA was crowned as Ms. Freshers’22. Best Dressed Male and female were Manan of BBA, Best Evaline of BCA respectively. Title of beautiful Face was given to Garima of B.Sc. FD Whereas Harry of B.Sc. GWD was honored with best physique. Ishita of BBA was Ms. Charming and Mr. Handsome was Sipho of B.Sc. ND . The event came to an end with a thanks giving note.
