6th Law Convocation of Panjab University to be held on November 16

CHANDIGARH: The 6th Law Convocation of Panjab University, Chandigarh will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Gymnasium Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

The convocation is being held and hosted by Panjab University under the guidance of Prof. Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University. This prestigious event, jointly organized by Prof. Shruti Bedi, Director, University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) and Prof. Dr. Vandana Arora, Chairperson, Department and the Panjab University Regional Centres, marks a significant milestone in celebrating the academic excellence and achievement of over 750 graduating students from the University Institute of Legal Studies; Department of Laws and the Regional Centres of Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.R. Gavai, Judge, Supreme Court of India will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India will preside over the convocation. The event will also be honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court as the Guest of Honour.

The convocation ceremony is a momentous occasion where graduates, faculty, family, and friends come together to celebrate the academic achievements of students.

The host department has made elaborate arrangements to smoothly facilitate the convocation ceremony. Special committees are efficiently looking into the conduct of the function.
