NEW DELHI: India’s inflation based on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) plummeted to the negative zone at 0.13 per cent in June for the first time this year as prices of food and fuels declined during the month, according to data released by the Commerce and Industry Ministry on Monday.
WPI-based inflation has been steadily easing since March and hit a 14-month low of 0.39 per cent in May.
