CHANDIGARH: Panjab University, Chandigarh in association with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology and CMS VATAVARAN are organising 'Environment Film Festival & Forum on LiFE' from March 20-22, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Law Auditorium .This festival is being organised for the first time in Chandigarh. This festival will offer a mix of engaging film screenings, artistic activities, and interactive learning sessions (flyers attached). The following three main activities are being organised:
1. Film Screenings: A selection of environmental films will be shown every day. Students attending the full event each day will receive a working lunch, evening tea, and a participation certificate. 2. Painting Competition: March 21st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this competition challenges students to showcase their environmental passion through art. The top three artists will win prizes, and the top ten will get certificates. Target enrolment 150 to 200 participants from different schools and colleges. 3. Mobile Journalism & Environment Filmmaking Workshop: Led by award-winning filmmaker Mr. Gautam Pandey, this workshop will teach storytelling and filmmaking skills. 60 participants would be accommodated and prior registration is mandatory.
