Triple title for Arnav and Neha in Chandigarh TT

CHANDIGARH: Arnav of Gurukul Global School won all the three events -- junior boys singles (Under 17 years), junior boys singles (Under 19 years) and men's singles titles in the 34th Chandigarh State Table Tennis Championship-2021 for Sardar Gurmeet Singh Grewal Memorial Trophy here today. In the Junior (Under 17 years) category and Junior (Under 19 years) category, Arnav won his finals against Samarth of Gurukul Global School. In the men's singles final, he won his match against Rishabh of Warriors Table Tennis Academy Chandigarh.

Neha of Manav Mangal High School won all her three events in the State Championship i.e Junior girls singles (Under 17 years), Junior girls singles (Under 19 years) and women's singles title. In all the three finals, Neha defeated Pelf of Learning Path School to win the three titles

Final: Neha (Manav Mangal High School) beat Pelf (Learning Path School) 1-8, 8-11, 11-9 8-11, 11-8, 11-9.
Junior boys singles (u-17) (semi-finals): Arnav (Gurukul Global School) beat Pritish Sood (Learning Path School) 11-7, 11-8, 11-9, 11-8, Samarth (Gurukul Global School) beat Aariv (Gurukul Global School) (11-6, 11-7, 8-11, 9-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-8.
