Jagir Kaur congratulated SGPC hockey team which reached the quarter finals of national games

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Hockey Team defeated Malwa Hockey Academy Hanumangarh 7-0 in the National Games in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) to advance to the quarter finals.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated the hockey team which reached the quarter finals.
She said that in order to promote sports, the SGPC was preparing hockey teams and players in other sports for which the SGPC was continuously working. Meanwhile, Mr. Tejinder Singh Padda Secretary Sports Department said that on the orders of the President of the SGPC Bibi Jagir Kaur the Sports Department was providing all possible support to the players.
Mr Padda said that the players of SGPC were consistently performing well in the National Games being held in Bhopal. The hockey team has reached the quarter-finals by playing in their own pool and will now face the team that reached the quarter-finals in the second pool.
He hoped that the hockey team of the SGPC would enhance the prestige of the organization by winning.
