CLTA, CHANDIGARH:An important international tennis tournament, ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-3) Tournament for boys and girls under-18 years was organized by Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) in its Tennis Stadium, Sector-10, Chandigarh, from January 3 to 8, 2022.
2nd seed Yuvan Nandal defeated Daksh Ashok Agarwal in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 in the boys singles Finals today. Yuvan won the 1st set easily without conceding a single game, in the 2nd set Yuvan took some resistance, finally Yuvan used his experienced to closed the set and match 6-4.
In the girls singles Finals unseeded Tejasvi Dabas upset 3rd seed Vaishnavi Adkar in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Tejasvi played in a top foam and maintained her momentum throughout the match.
In the boys doubles Finals Fadi Bidan of Lebanon and T Boosarawongse of Thailand defeated Manas Dhamne / Aryan Shah of India 7-5, 6-7(3) [12 10]
Top seed Anya Murthy and Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand won girls double title. Anya and Lanlana defeated 3rd seed Vaishnavi Adkar and Rutuja Chaphalkar in straight sets 7-5, 7-5.
