Haryana Steelers go down 26-45 against Tamil Thalaivas in PKL

BEMGALURU: Haryana Steelers went down 26-45 against Tamil Thalaivas in Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 in Bengaluru on Monday. The Tamil Thalaivas got off to a good start and took a 4-2 lead in the opening minutes of the match. In the 6th minute, the Thalaivas inflicted an All Out and took a seven-point lead at 9-2.

The Steelers carried out a fantastic tackle and reduced the gap between the two sides, however, the Tamil side kept picking up points and kept forging ahead. The Haryana side tried to fight back, but the Tamil team stood tall and continued to effect raids and tackles.

In the 12th minute, the Thalaivas inflicted another All Out and took a 14-point lead at 20-6. Kandola carried out a brilliant raid in the 15th minute and moments later, the Steelers effected a fantastic tackle and got closer to the Tamil side's score.
The Haryana team continued to fight and carried out an All Out in the 17th minute as the Thalaivas led at 20-15. In the dying minutes of the first half, the Tamil team carried out a great raid and two tackles and stayed in the lead at the end of the first half. The Tamil Thalaivas went into the break leading at 24-18.
The Tamil side carried out an All Out in the opening minutes of the second half and took an 11-point lead at 29-18. The Haryana Steelers tried to stay in the contest by picking up raid points, however, the Thalaivas kept scoring points and kept extending their lead. Haryana carried out a Super Tackle in the 30th minute,

However, the Thalaivas held the lead at 35-23. The Tamil side effected another All Out in the 34th minute and took an 18-point lead at 41-23. The Tamil Thalaivas rode on the momentum and ensured that they stayed in the lead until the final whistle was blown.
