CHANDIGARH: Damneet Singh Mann of Barnala City has won first Gold for Punjab in the hammer throw with a new national record of 67.62 meter throw in the 36th National Games.
Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer while congratulating Damneet for this achievement said that he has bright future in Indian athletics. Damneet has previously clinched a silver medal in the junior category Youth World Championship and Youth Asian Championship.
