CHANDIGARH:Indian duo of N. Sriram Balaji and Divij Sharan recorded straight sets 7-5, 6-2 verdict against Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan and Courtney John Lock of Zimbabwe in the doubles quarter-final in the € 44, 820 HPP Open, Helsinki (Finland) .
Balaji and Sharan are now pitted against top seeds Harri Heliovaara of Finland and Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands in the semi-final. Heliovaara and Rojer ousted Kimmer Coppejans and Joris De Loore of Belgium 6-4, 6-3 in the quarter-final.
Down by one set, eighth seed Nikola Milojevic of Serbia rallied to beat Ramkumar Ramanathan of India 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 in singles Round 16.
