GURDASPUR: Kuwar Amritbir Singh is just 19 but he has made extra ordinary achievements. He is superman of pushups. Hailing from village Umarwala in Batala sub division of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, Kunwar is first Young Boy from Punjab to break National Records at the age of 17 and 18.
By Doing 118 knuckle Pushups in 1 minute and youngest to do Maximum superman Pushups in 30 Seconds that is 35. Also Awarded as young youth icon from district Gurdaspur by Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur and SDM Batala on August 15th and January 26th.
Talking to Punjabnewsexpress.com, Kunwar said, "When I was in 8th class I use to get the role of Bhagat Singh ji , kartar Singh sarabha ji and udham Singh ji in school plays so then after playing their roles I get involved in their characters that such a great personalities they were and also used to study biographies of other top personalities in books , social media and listen from our elders."
It was the time when he thought to do something different that youth should also study about him in future and consider him as their Role Model. "Then I started my journey in fitness when I was of 16 years and never gone gym to start it till now.
He goes on to say, "I used to practice at home with my own home-made desi Workout equipments so that I should encourage youth that if you want to do something don't wait for the opportunities or benefits you can Start by your own because you are only the Hero of yourself".
Kunwar Amritbir Singh said, he started doing practice and also posting his art regularly on social media. He puts his journey as, "In the beginning it was quite difficult to start the journey and slowly slowly I started getting involved in view of public and now many of youth has changed their lifestyle by watching me on social media.
He further explained that making changes in society he was nominated for Karmaveer Chakra Awards 2020 - 2021. On the other side he has also done Two punjabi Short movies as lead role to promote fitness in youth. He inspired youth to leave the drugs.
He aspires to become first young action Hero in Punjabi entertainemnt Industry as Sardar boy. He also wants to become First Young boy from Punjab whose name should be nominated for International Youth Icon Awards.
